Write an email with Earl Collins Info (Done)
Disseminate application and directions - mass email (that I don't have access to), Peach Jar - $, or email directly to HS counselors and other contacts (this is what I've done in the past)
Follow up with those who were emailed
Check for applications in the mail (someone has to check our PO Box)
Review and score applications - should be reviewed by two people.
Let applicants know we received their applications; if a signature is missing, give them a chance to sign it.
Send scoring to Earl Collins Scholarship Committee by the deadline (make sure President signs the applications)
Once the announcement is made (we may have to follow up about this), let our applicants know if they won or not, and possibly send them a "thank you for applying" card.
Our Club decides if to give our applicants a small scholarship since they made the effort to apply.
Our Kiwanis Fall Service Day is right around the corner! Elizabeth and I would like to invite you to join us at Camp Wyman in Eureka for an impactful day of service.
We would love to invite members of your club, your families, and key club members.
There will be a variety of projects with a little something for everyone!
We’ll be painting and restoring a few benches in Camp, along with putting together snacks with encouraging messages for young people in Wyman's Programs.
SEE ATTACHED MAP
Meet at Kling Hall at 8:00 AM for orientation and coffee.
We'll gather back together in Kling Hall for lunch and fellowship at 12:00PM noon.
Service Day Details
Date: Saturday, October 25th from 8:00 A.M. to12:00 P.M. Noon
Location: Camp Wyman - 600 Kiwanis Drive Eureka, MO 63025
What to Bring: Wear appropriate layers, work gloves if you have them, closed toe shoes and maybe a water bottle. We'll take care of the rest!
